Balance was created after my exploration with prairie grass in Prairie Rose. I wanted to see if I could create a light and floating feeling within a sculpture. Suspending the vessel form within the coils created the otherworldly feeling playing with gravity.
This piece is balancing on a small section of coil, I’m interested to see how this one holds up over time, how much the coils will give in to gravity over time.
