With the weaving and metal work this one took me about a month of solid weaving to finish. The center piece is 22g copper sheet with a colored pencil patina. Moving all of my basketry kit around the house was starting to become a problem. I’d be on my balcony and realize I had left something I needed in my studio. So why not make a basket for my tools!

I often forget that this piece is a work of art, I use it so much day to day, it’s the last one I think of when I’m showing. It was a fun one to make though, feeling the sides slowly form a curve beneath my hands was wonderful.
